Additionally there are numerous methods of gifting options including wills, trusts, retirement funds gifts and annuities that provide favorable taxation benefits during your lifetime and after. The Mid Atlantic Methodist Foundationcan provide guidance and work with your financial advisors and attorneys to insure that your intentions are carried out in the manner you wish.
If you have already included the Church as a beneficiary of your will, living trust, or retirement plan, please let us know so that we may thank you appropriately for your lasting gift. A small plaque honoring those people will be placed on the Legacy Tree in the Parlor as a small thank you for your kindness. And of course, privacy and anonymity will always be honored if desired.
Please contact Ginny Rutherford our Staff Accountant in the church office at 410 - 252 - 5500 if you have remembered the church in this way or if there are any questions regarding the setup of a planned gift.
Make a Bequest to TUMC - What Will be Your Legacy?
We have established a Legacy Giving Society at TUMC. We realize that some members and friends have already decided to include the church in their estate plans. With these “Legacy Gifts” the ongoing good works of TUMC will continue for years to come.
In the past years, we have received legacy gifts from the Kyle Family, Wilkinson Family and recently the Brown Family and McGuire Family to mention a few. These gifts have provided critical financial support that allowed TUMC to complete the parking lot project, install the new sound system, replacing the roof as well as supporting youth missions and bridging the financial gap in years of budget shortfalls.
The Timonium congregation constantly shares their time, talents and gifts for the glory of God. We ask that you prayerfully consider including the Church in your estate planning.
