Scouting for Food is an ongoing annual program of the Boy Scouts of America, begun in 1985 by the Greater Saint Louis Area Council. It is organized at the local level throughout the country and collects food for local food banks.
In 2017, approximately 400 Scouts and Scouters from 30 Dulaney District Units participated in the Scouting For Food Program. Over 23,000 pounds of food was collected and donated to local charitable organizations. The Boy Scout Slogan is Do a Good Turn Daily. Countless individuals have benefited from their outstanding “Good Turn.” Congrats to our Scouts!
On March 24th Boy Scout Troop 328 collected 130 bags of food during The Scouting For Fooddrive. The Cub Scouts of Pack 328 distributed bags in the neighborhood the weekend before and the Boy Scouts picked up the donated food last Saturday.
