Both ring approximately once a month during the program year, which lasts from the week after Labor Day through the first week of June.
Non-church members are welcome to join us with the understanding that they will ring in worship when scheduled. Schedules are discussed with the choir and announced well in advance.
Bells’ Bells is our handbell choir for adults. It rings once a month for worship and is joined by brass and organ for festive Christmas and Easter services. Some music reading, especially the ability to read and count rhythmic notation, is required. A handbell background would be helpful, but if you’re willing to learn, we’ll be glad to teach you the techniques required. This choir does a variety of works arranged from classical literature to settings of hymns to compositions for handbells.
This group meets on Wednesday nights, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
The Rockin’ Ringers is our handbell choir for kids, and some of their parents! Music reading is helpful, but not required. It plays less difficult music, but some challenges are thrown in on a regular basis! It meets on Mondays, from 4:30 - 5:15 p.m.
