Recent scientific research about what you can do to make life less stressful and more effective.

1:55 - 2:40 p.m.

A Taste of Bliss

Experience the time-honored practices of Yoga and Meditation to increase your body/mind resilience in the face of stress. No experience is necessary. Please wear loose, comfortable clothing and bring a yoga mat and a blanket. If you don’t have a mat, bring a blanket. No jeans, please.

About Our Presenter

Joanna Brandt, RYT, is a specialist in transforming the stress

response into health and happiness. She has been teaching

meditation since 1975 and yoga since 1999. For over 40

years she has led workshops on leading a stress-less

life. Local clients include Good Samaritan Hospital,

St. Joseph’s Medical Center, The National Association of

Women Business Owners, Baltimore County Department

of Aging, Fox 45, and numerous yoga studios, health

clubs and senior centers. She was also the

publisher/editor of the anthology, "The Best Ways to Erase

Stress in 15 Minutes or Less" and of "Lightworks

Holistic Magazine" from 1988-1996.
