Affiliation with Timonium United Methodist Church is not necessary to lend a hand.

There are a variety of ways you can help victims of the recent hurricanes,

including sending requested supplies, or donating to the United Methodist Committee on Relief.

Here Are Ways You Can Help

Lend a Hand

to the Victims of the Hurricanes

Timonium United Methodist Church - 2300 Pot Spring Road in Timonium

 410 - 252 - 5500

You can donate online to the United Methodist Committee on Relief, which already has Early Response Teams in the area. The advantage of donating to this organization is 100% of your tax-deductible gift will go to flood relief. All administrative costs are covered by United Methodist Churches around the country. You can donate by clicking here.

If you are a member or friend of Timonium United Methodist Church, you can write a check to TUMC and designate it for Flood Relief, then either put it in the offering plate or take or mail it to the Church Office. Again: 100% of your gift will go to victims of the hurricanes.

If you’d like to donate requested supplies, there are two ways to do that:

You can purchase the items needed for a Flood or Cleaning Kit.

Cost of supplies is roughly $65.

You, your family, or group can put together a kit or kits.

This would be a great group project!

Click on the appropriate picture to download a pdf of supplies and instructions. Do not substitute items.

When complete, bring them to the church, and we will deliver them to a distribution center for shipment to the area.  Directions to the church are here.  We will not accept items other than the kits described above.

Below you’ll find Youtube videos on how to pack:

You can purchase the items needed for a Health Kit or Hygiene Kit.

Cost of supplies is roughly $12

You, your family or a group can put together a kit or kits. This project is small enough that children can create their own kits.

Do not send clothing of any kind to us, or to the area. Unwanted clothing or other items takes volunteer time away from meeting the needs of the flood victims. Do not substitute or add items to the kits. And please do not go to the affected area yourself unless you are part of an organization designated to be part of the relief efforts.

Thank you for lending a hand to our friends in need!

Given the long-term nature of this disaster, this web page will stay up indefinitely so you can refer back to it when needed.
