Our Theme

Love in Action

This Week:

We Are the Church

Scripture Readings

Ephesians 2: 4 - 10

Ephesians 4: 7 - 13

Something to think about:  The Church isn’t just a building. It’s people responding to God’s love by reaching out to share that love with other people, not just our friends. Each of us has unique, God-given gifts, and God commands us to use them to help others. What are your gifts, and how are you using them?

This Sunday is Pledge Sunday! Please bring your completed pledge cards with you to the service, and plan to stay for the celebration luncheon afterward!

Thanks to everyone who helped make the Fall Festival a success! Go to our web site Church News Page to find a link to pictures of the event.

The TUMC Pumpkin Patch will be open October 14th through October 31st. John Spanlger is scheduling volunteers this year. If you can help, please contact him at 410 - 252 - 4643 or spangler451926 @ gmail.com. The pumpkins are scheduled to arrive on October 13th at 4:00 p.m. Our Boy Scout Troop will be there to help unload them. If you would like to help out, please contact Jani in the Church office.

Food Pantry Needs for the Week of October 15 - Our Food Pantry needs: canned green beans, canned fruit, peanut butter, jelly, and canned pork and beans (please, no other kinds of beans). Please check expiration dates. We do not distribute food beyond its expiration date.

Sing Christmas Music with the Chancel Choir! Those rehearsals begin on Wednesday, October 18. As before, we’ll rehearse the Christmas material from 7:30 - 8:15 p.m., then let the “Christmas Singers” go while the rest of the Choir stays to prepare Sunday material. You must be at a minimum of four rehearsals to participate. We hope to see you on the 18th!

Christmas Trees - We need your helping decorating Christmas trees in Fellowship Hall and the Narthex. The trees will go up the third week of November. If you have any ornaments you’d like to donate, preferably not new, you can drop them off at the Church Office, or just hang them on the tree! Hooks will be available. Thanks for contributing to our Family Christmas trees!
